U.S. Army National Guard

Bobby enlisted in the Army National Guard's 1/184 Infantry. In 2004 he was activated for deployment with the 3rd Infantry Division. He was the Squad Designated Marksman and earned the Combat Infantry Badge in 2005. He returned to reserve status in 2006 and ETS'd in 2009 to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Prior to WQW Bobby had minimal experience fishing. Since his FX he has been traveling around California learning the streams and the fish. Bobby is also a Hunter education instructor for the state of California.

Bobby lives in Northern California with a wife and two children. When not at work he spends his time hunting, fishing, and backpacking, and teaching other veterans to do the same.
