Lindsey is from Kingsley, Michigan and is currently wife to veteran Josh Petersen. As the caregiver of a combat wounded veteran, she is excited to bring the voice of caregivers and families to the table. Lindsey and Josh were married in 2005 three months before Josh deployed for a year to Iraq. Since his return home Lindsey has been an advocate for Josh’s overall wellbeing and has now found joy in sharing that knowledge with other families and veterans.
Currently, she is the general manager at a local brewery, mother to twin boys, and helps with the local nonprofit, 22 2 None, out of South Boardman, MI.
Lindsey’s first FX with Warrior on Quiet Waters was a Caregiver FX in August of 2021. She also took part in the Family FX in June 2002, and the Coaching FX that started November 2022. Since learning of Warriors on Quiet Waters, she has been sharing her stories with anyone that will listen. She tries to get those that are qualified to sign up to be able to the experience of Montana fly fishing, and the healing that happens at the Ranch while there. As a National Ambassador she is excited to be able to share that healing outside of Montana.
