Journey Through Warrior Taste Fest's History - Warriors & Quiet Waters

Journey Through Warrior Taste Fest's History

When was Warrior Taste Fest created? How has it grown over the years? Why does Warriors & Quiet Waters (WQW) treasure this occasion? These questions are important to consider as we move closer toward the 5th Annual Warrior Taste Fest this September.

The idea for Warrior Taste Fest emerged in 2019 during a WQW Board and National Advisory Board meeting. The vision was simple: create an accessible, affordable, and inclusive event for people to come together and support WQW. Thus, Warrior Taste Fest was born. It brought together local artists, food, and drink vendors for an evening of fundraising. A total of $366,348 was generated to support Warriors in their journey to thriving.

In 2020, the pandemic meant that WQW needed to pivot and provide Warrior Taste Fest in a different way. The event was held virtually at Quiet Waters Ranch, and attendees were able to watch talented artists create pieces live. Despite the changes, Warrior Taste Fest proved its ability to bring WQW supporters together yet again.

In 2021, people were able to celebrate in-person once more, which created plenty of excitement. Over 500 supporters came together to enjoy food, beer, and cocktails from 28 Montana vendors. $526,000 was raised during the event, which included the sale of a $27,000 painting by Todd Connor and a $22,000 painting by Troy Collins.

The 4th Annual Warrior Taste Fest was an occasion of booming growth. It was the largest event yet, with a total of $655,000 raised for Warriors. 65 volunteers, 36 vendors, 10 artists, and a sold-out audience cemented Warrior Taste Fest’s identity as a purposeful, inspirational event.

Warrior Taste Fest would not be possible without WQW community members. The massive web of people who support Warriors brings life to the event. During Warrior Taste Fest, volunteers can be seen selling WQW merchandise with a smile. Employees from local breweries and restaurants explain their wide selection of beers, cocktails, and foods to try. Renowned artists concentrate on their creations, and WQW staff speak about the ways that Warriors’ lives are being changed.

Warrior Taste Fest is so much more than an annual gathering – it’s an opportunity for people to connect with the WQW community in a meaningful and impactful way.

We hope that you will join us for a celebration of WQW’s mission at the 5th Annual Warrior Taste Fest on September 8th, 2023!
