WQW partnership with Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans & Military Families

WQW is very excited to be working with this top-notch organization. IVMF is tasked with providing WQW with direct evaluation services and capacity-building support for the purpose of improving our programs and communicating impact to current stakeholders, participants, and potential funders and partners.

IVMF staff has completed interviews of staff, volunteers, former board members, and the founder, concluding the first phase of our joint efforts. Just this past week, we are excited to report that we have entered the second phase of this partnership, with our first evaluation sent out to the Warriors of FX-3, our first Solo FX of the season. IVMF is currently working on refreshing our logic model and theory of change to include program, participant type, and veteran status. This effort should be complete within the coming weeks. As the 2021 season progresses, IVMF will formalize and adjust both short- and long-term outcomes for program evaluation for the surveys going forward.
