Phil Uihlein

Phil was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and spent many summers in Montana’s Madison and Gallatin Valley’s, both working and with family.

He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he also had the opportunity to play on the UW hockey team. After graduation, Phil worked at his family business from 1973 until retirement in 2010.

In the late 1970’s Phil served on the Board of Managers for the Schroeder YMCA and in the early 1990’s as a Trustee for the University School of Milwaukee respectively.

Nearing the end of Phil’s business career, he purchased property in the Madison Valley and moved to Montana full time in 2010. He enjoys working with horses and taking long rides in the mountains. In 2019, Phil will mark six years as a volunteer in key roles with the organization. He is the current NAB Chair and has been a member of the NAB since 2015.
