Luke Thompson is a former Airborne Infantryman and Chief Warrant Officer II in the Army. Before attending WOCS, he served a tour in Afghanistan as a Radio Telecommunications Operator and Squad Designated Marksman in the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team and was later designated as an Army Aviator flying the OH-58D(R) Kiowa Warrior helicopter as a graduate of the Army Warrant Officer Career College and Flight School XXI. After seven years of service, he pursued a career in Information Technology and currently works as a software development engineer with Liberty Mutual Insurance and has volunteered much of his time assisting wounded veterans find ways to exercise and stay healthy. Luke aspires to serve the veteran community by sharing his passion for fishing and ecotherapy where he resides in Pensacola, Florida with his wife and two sons, where they spend as much time as possible camping, fishing, and enjoying the out-of-doors.
