Prior to serving as Director of Development, Emily has fulfilled roles of Annual Fund Manager, Community Engagement and Volunteer Manager, and Deputy Director of Development. She is a proud Bobcat and a Grizzly having earned a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolution from Montana State University and a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from the University of Montana. Emily is also one of 30 Certified Fund Raising Executives in the state of Montana. She has immersed herself in the nonprofit sector since undergrad, including spending two years as an AmeriCorps volunteer doing land restoration in Washington state. Emily was selected as a 2019 “20 under 40” recipient, spotlighting Southwest Montana’s top young business professionals. She believes that people are the heart of mission-based work, and is continually inspired by those who make up the Warriors & Quiet Waters community. When not at work, she can be found spending time outside with her family and rescue dog.
