James Ulmer

Davidson, Saskatchewan and Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Jim is originally from Imperial, Saskatchewan, Canada and now splits his time between Davidson, Saskatchewan and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He spent 25 years as a lawyer and farmer in Saskatchewan. To facilitate these endeavors, he flew his own aircraft to save time during his extensive travels. Jim moved to Florida in 1996 on a TN 90 as a technical expert. After 9/11, he became a US citizen and is currently a resident of Florida.

Jim has served as Officer and Director of Wells Land & Cattle Company and Arm Rivers Farms Company in Canada. He was Chairman of the Board of the Las Olas Company and President of T.E. Wells & Co. in the USA. He has served as Director of The Lillian S. Wells Foundation for the past 20 years. He also serves as President and Director of P. A. Wells & Co. and as a Director of the Rush Creek Land & Cattle Company.

Jim has been married to his wife Marilyn for 51 years. They have three children and four grandchildren. Jim has devoted his life in Canada and the United States trying to leave things better than he found them. He is humbled by the opportunity to give positive energy and time to WQW.
