Stevie grew up alongside the Illinois River, graduating from Monmouth College with a degree in English. During college, she wrote for the award-winning magazine Time Out Chicago, covering breaking news such as the 2012 Chicago Teacher's Union Strike. Eventually, she traded cornfields for mountains and landed in Bozeman in 2014. Since then, she’s been working in various marketing and journalism roles. She discovered her calling is helping people find connection and community through the art of storytelling and digital marketing. Her passion for veteran causes grew significantly in 2014 when her younger brother joined the Army. In 2021, she was named one of Bozeman’s 20 Under 40 recipients. In her free time, she volunteers on the National Speakers Bureau for RAINN or with Haven and is the founder of the nonprofit We Are HER, a top-rated organization for survivors of abuse.
