Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

Every year 200+ volunteers for Warriors & Quiet Waters Foundation (WQW) open their hearts and donate their time (over 10,000 hours annually!) in service to our nation’s post-9/11 combat veterans. WQW’s volunteer opportunities near Bozeman, MT aim to empower individuals to make a difference in meaningful ways and there are many ways you can help  – as an individual or group, behind-the-scenes, and during therapeutic programs.

Volunteer applications are accepted year-round. To be considered for one of our Bozeman volunteer opportunities in 2021, applications must be submitted by February 28, 2021. Volunteer interviews will take place in February. Program volunteers will be notified of placement by March 1, 2021. Regardless of program placement, all applicants will be considered for volunteer programs outside of direct program support.

Steps to becoming a volunteer:

Step #1 – Review the Volunteer Handbook

Step #2 – Review the Volunteer Job Descriptions (specific to anyone with interested in direct program support)

Step #3 Complete the Volunteer Application after completing steps 1 and 2.

Step #4 – Volunteers will be contacted by Casey Giles, Volunteer & Program Coordinator to arrange a volunteer interview.

Most interviews take place during the months of December, January, and February. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received.
