Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

Volunteer applications are currently being accepted for 2018.

Every year 200+ volunteers for Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation (WQW) open their hearts and donate their time (over 6,500 hours annually!) in service to our nation’s post-9/11 combat veterans. WQW’s volunteer program aims to empower individuals to make a difference in meaningful ways and there are many ways you can help  – as an individual or group, behind-the-scenes and during therapeutic programs.

Steps to becoming a volunteer:

  1. Review the 2017 Volunteer Handbook (summary of WQW’s history, policies, and procedures)
  2. Review the 2017 Volunteer Job Descriptions (specific to anyone with interested in direct program support)
  3. Submit a Volunteer Application.
  4. Wait patiently – Emily (volunteer manager)  will contact you in January, 2018 to arrange a volunteer interview. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received.

All volunteer applications are thoroughly reviewed by
Emily Sather, Community Engagement and Volunteer Manager.
